David Gill joined Rakuten in November of 2016 through the acquisition of Slice Technologies, an innovative e-commerce market research provider.  As Vice President of Analytic Solutions, David helps clients understand competitive performance and consumer behavior through Rakuten's independent and proprietary consumer research assets. Before Rakuten Advertising, David was Vice President at Nielsen where he forged key client relationships and led several innovative measurement initiatives with publishers and advertisers.  Through his experience working with both buyers and sellers of media and advertising, David has unique perspective and insight on the value and applicability of research, measurement, and data science.  A frequent speaker on panels and at industry events, Gill holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin.
